What data is collected and processed when you visit the website?

When you visit my website, you leave a passive digital footprint (as is the case everywhere on the internet). This means that my hosting provider, but also every other hosting provider, stores information such as your IP address, time of access, names and sizes of the files and pages you have viewed, as well as the type and version of your browser and operating system in so-called log files. Your IP address is stored anonymously by the hosting provider ( As the operator of the website, I can view these anonymized IP addresses in the log files. These log files provide me with information about how often my site is visited. They help me to optimize the website.
